Pastor David Franz
David was born in Minot, ND, but has lived most of his life in Minnesota. He is a graduate of the Free Lutheran Bible College in Plymouth, MN, Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN, and the Free Lutheran Seminary in Plymouth, MN. He was ordained through the AFLC in 2011. He served two churches in Iowa for about seven years before becoming the Pastor at Good Shepherd in late 2017.
David is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word in a clear and relevant way and helping people become grounded in the Christian faith. David and Whitney were married in 2008, and they have three children.

Debbie Mickelson
Debbie has been our secretary and janitor since 2012 and usually works in the office two days each week. She recently retired from being a nurse at the hospital in Brainerd.
